Depends on the year, mint mark, and shape. Barber 1/2's and before carry a decent collector premium. The walking liberties - 1964 kennedy 1/2's are mainly a little more than their silver content (.3618 ounce x $15.15/ounce= $5.48) 1965-1969 kennedy 1/2's have .1479 ounce ($2.24 in silver value) silver and are pretty much worth thier weight in silver. Any 1970 to current kennedy can be found in circulation and are worth 50 cent. Maybe one from a mint set can be found and may be worth a few dollars.
