For this particular coin you need to be more specific. A coins value depends on it country of origin, mint marks (if any), denomination, date, errors, etc. In 1880 there were so many that got screwed up (with all mintmarks) that it is virtually impossible to appraise it without seeing it. So in really good condition then it could be worth anywhere between $18 and $90,000 depending on the factors listed above. If you send me a picture I can give you an accurate appraisal but otherwise you will need to bring it by a coin dealer.
