He brought a unique and little know form of fighting style to the western world. He introduce Americans to Karate, Jujitsu, Judo, Taekwondo and other Asian martial arts.

I still disagree with you, I would say 99%? of America was not in in the military in WW1 and WW2 either and Bruce Lee was born after WW2, therefore he could not had been on T.V. 😁

I think you're missing my point.
My point is that some Americans were aware of these martial arts before Bruce Lee was even born.
Thus, America was introduced to those arts before Bruce Lee.

He may have popularized them, but he didn't introduce them.
It's like saying Christopher Columbus discovered America, just because his travels were more published than those of earlier explorers.

No, I'm not missing your point, you have missed the question's point. It's about BRUCE LEE and HIS MARTIAL ARTS STYLE. You have went 100 years before he was born and a 100 years before TV. Now you got Christopher Columbus 1492. Omg. I see you're lost on this question. We're not going to agree on anything in this question. You can have the last comments. I'm done. Post on 😲

Bruce' Lee developed "The way of the intercepting Fist" - Jeet Kune Do

His back ground was in Wing Chun (Also known as Chinese Boxing) and he like the art of Fencing. He established some very real and practical applications to "distance" in fighting . . . The understanding of whether a target was close enough to do any damage versus too far to even waste energy on blocking. He was also one of the first to really understand the body mechanic's in applying a twist in your core to maximize energy and strength in punching. His "1 Inch Punch" is still legendary.
