The Pfaff 436 series is a self oiling sump machine. If you remove the top lid system on the right side facing the machine you can manually get into the upper drive system. You can also add sewing machine oil thru the large screw on the top of this unit. The bubble system shows when the oil is full. Just oil the hook assembly normally as on any machine.
Remember to re-hook the tubing to the oil system when you remove the top assembly. The manual oiling is useful if the sump pump is not working.
