This is a good one just before food or going-home time. Suits age 4-10, because even the children who are "out" still get to participate (in a fashion).
Ignore any movement for the first minute or so to give the children a chance to wind down -- and you a chance to relax.
GAME
All the children lie down on the floor. They pretend to be very (very) tired lions that have fallen asleep.
The sleepy little lions must not move at all. If they so much as twitch then they have to wake up, and sit out of the game.
NB: variation on this is to insist they can't make any noise, either, not even a giggle or chortle. Add this stipulation in if children are age 7+.
Children who get out can sit down next to the adult and try to tease the others into moving.
Last child lying on the floor is the winner.
