I have a Brother Innovis 4000D (upgraded to 4500). From utility stitches I picked the regular zig zag stich changed the stitch width to 3.0mm and the stitch lenth to 0.2mm and got a fairly dense satin stich which is what I was looking for. It wasn't easy to find out this info. I have lots of decorative satin stitches but I just wanted a plain zig zag with dense stitches.
