I live close to Valley Forge National Park, site of Revolutionary War battles. When we were teens, we would go there and play "war". There were bunkers, stone walls and original log cabins that the soldiers used during the war. We would stage battles and, of course the girls were only nurses. If you got wounded, you would go into one of the log cabins and be "treated" by a nurse. Tons of fun.
Me and my friends would run around and pretend to be horses haha. We loved the movie Spirit so we would pretend we were the horses in the movie
Making Planets.
When my younger sister and I were kids we were home alone most days on summer vacation. I always had a list of chores and she didn't 😡 So I would ask her if she wanted to play " Cinderella" ... Then I would pretend I wanted to be Cinderella and she be the ugly step sister...she'd beg to be Cinderella , I'd let her "win" ..then I'd have her do all my chores and I'd collect the allowance ...BAM ! I was a mind ninja even as a kid :)
We make-believed we were rich, had long hair, beautiful homes and were happy😔😔😔😔😔.
I had two younger sisters and one younger brother. We played out the Swiss Family Robinson story in our backyard.
My friends and myself usually played "school" where one of us was the teacher and the rest were students. We also made up a lot of plays and even put on different kinds of parades in our neighborhood for all the kids to participate in. We spent all of our time outside and at friends' houses using our imaginations in the good old days.
my answer got zapped
Me and my sister use to play "house" and we would take our babies to the beach.... (with the hose! LOL)
