Are you ever too old to play video games? I just found out in my professional circle we all happen to be playing the same newly released game and no one had the courage to speak about it until a random event happen.

No way ! I beta test PC games and play them daily ! There are a couple of testers that are older than myself. Even some I play online games with also. With video games? Age matters not !

Age matters not in video games. From Minecraft to Grand Theft Auto, video games are designed for all ages. I know that I will never stop playing. Also, I will never stop admitting that I'm a gamer.

In fact, I seem to remember a research study that said playing video games helped reduce the chance of degenerative mental disorders for "senior citizens".

No-one is ever too old to play games in my opinion. Games tap into instincts and a pleasure/reward system that is intrinsically baked into all of us from a psychological perspective.

Some people just can't accept that they secretly love games, even though they probably enjoy or are motivated by game mechanics in their daily life in one way or another.

Avid fans and payers of videogames will tell you that there’s no such thing as too old. Online you’ll even find funny remarks from people saying that they’ll only stop playing videogames moments before their last breath. Of course, this is an exaggeration but this gives you an idea of how people think about videogames alongside aging.

You never specified the age group you belong to but the thing is, if you’re finding thrill, excitement, and enjoyment from playing videogames (and it can be assumed that others in your professional circle are enjoying, too), then there’s no need to worry about feeling too old to play.

Take for example the videogame Overwatch. It’s loved by people around the world and gamers from various age groups enjoy it whether as a hobby or something they do for competitive purposes. There are people in their late 20s and even early 30s who still play Overwatch and even take part in Overwatch League. These people have out of this world skills and experience but even though you’re not a competitive player, you can still enjoy the game and the exciting features that come with higher levels and rankings through Expert Boosting.
