I think you should do whatever makes you happy.  You don't have to have brand loyalty to just Pokemon, or just Yu-Gi-Oh, or just Digimon.

Some people get so invested in only one thing, they miss out on a lot of good times.  Remember the junk about only playing Xbox vs. PlayStation?  Phzffttt! 😤  I play both.

Have fun!

I always agree with Happy and you should take her advice..... Because my advice will be wrong. Lol! I am faithful to a fault and there will NEVER be another Pikachu! I am loyal to Pokemon.

That's like asking if it's okay to use one window cleaner instead of another one . . . Really? You can't answer this yourself?

Both are games designed to:

  1. First create revenue for their business
  2. Second make an appealing game for their users . . .
  3. . . . To create brand loyalty . . . WHY?
  4. To entice repeat business . . . WHY?
  5. To create revenue for their business . . .

For them it's all about the money . . . So play both and give your money to both, or play one and give your money to one . . . Drink Pepsi, and then Drink Coke . . . . Eat at Burger King and then eat at MacDonald's . . .

Be a maverick and sell all your cards and buy Magic the Gathering cards instead .  . Better game anyway . . . See that? Brand Loyalty.
