John Fitzgerald Kennedy, commonly known as John F Kennedy or JFK, was born on May 29, 1917 and died on November 22, 1963. The democrat was the 35th President of the United States and was famously assassinated in Dallas, Texas, only two years into his tenure.

Kennedy's funeral was a Requiem Mass; a rare funeral event in the Catholic Church. It took place at the Cathedral of St Matthew the Apostle in Washington D.C on November 25, 1963; 3 days after the shooting. 250,000 paid their respects as Kennedy lay in state, with 1,000,000 lining the streets of Washington D.C.

The funeral cards in relation to John F Kennedy's both featured his face. One was a simple white card with a profile shot of the deceased President. The other was a standard portrait shot with his full name and dates of birth, inauguration and death.

The cards themselves are collector's items but can be found quite cheaply online. Once again, the introduction of eBay means people can sell them on for a little profit or to give them to someone for whom they may be worth something. Their cost is roughly around $20-40, but some are listed even higher.

You should note that this difference in price, and dramatically high prices, may be for a reason. The cheap cards may be clones. The expensive may be expensive due to add-ons. Always check the descriptions, item photographs, and seller reputation.
