Slide open the door to the bobbin area. You will see a small white lever with a red circle on the right side. Push the red circle until it snaps in place with the bobbin in the machine. Make sure the machine threaded as usual. Then wrap the loose end of the thread, which should be through the eye of the needle, around the screw holding the needle in place then gently press on the foot/knee pedal and it will wind the bobbin while it is in the machine. You NEVER need to remove it to wind a new bobbin. When you close the door it will trip the bobbin lever back into place.Now pull the thread out longer and snip it to separate the upper thread from the bobbin thread. Now you are ready to sew.
