Hamleys is one of the best-known toy shops in the world. It's located on one of London's busiest and most glamorous shopping arcades: Regent's Street.
I'd definitely recommend visiting around Christmas time, when the lights and wintery atmosphere give the store a decidedly magical feel.

Travelling to Hamley's Toy Shop
Whilst some children have to wait till Christmas for Santa to lumber around the world with his reindeer-powered sleigh (I'm sure PETA would have something to say about that!), boys and girls who plan to visit London will be able to go to Hamleys instead.
The address of the shop is 188-196 Regent Street, London, W1B 5BT, and it is centrally-located and very easy to reach by public transport.

What is Hamley's toy shop?
Hamleys is one of London's biggest tourist attractions, with over 5 million visitors a year. Features I really like about the store are the friendly staff (who are often seen interacting with the public on the side-walk in front of the store), and the Punch and Judy shows that are put on at regular intervals.
The store started life under the name 'Noah's Ark' and was located on High Holborn. During its history the shop was burned down (in 1901), and bombed five times during World War II.
