   I have one of those also. I had a machinist friend look it over and it took him a while to figure out how this was done. He showed me what gave it away and I had to get a magnifying glass to see it well. Look at both sides carefully right along the outer edge, one will have slight imperfections that are hard to see. That is where the other head half was dropped in and joined to the other half!

Sorry, it isn't even worth .25, it's a magicians coin. My husband has one, and he called a coin shop to ask them about it, that's what we were told. We thought it was a misprint, but it isn't. Just a coin used for magic tricks. Hope this helps.
