Ok, you will need the following: Pipe cleaners, decorative pink pom poms, pink construction paper, hole puncher, foam paper, tape, googly eyes, glue ( preferably hot glue),  scissors, and a water bottle with lid. You will need to rap the construction paper around the bottle measuring it to where 2 in. Of the bottle hangs out of the bottom and top. You will then cut the paper. And tape it to where it raps the bottle. Then glue the 4 pom poms to the bottom of the bottle for it's legs. Then glue the googly eyes on the top. Then rap the pipe cleaner around your finger making it spiral. Glue it to the bottom of the bottle for the tail. Then hole punch to pink holes and glue them to the cap for the nostrils.then cut out to heart shaped foams. And turn them upside down and glue them for the ears. You now have a piggy bank!! Just un-screw the cap to put money inside..... Gatorade bottles are best for cows which you would do the same but with black and white materials

It's a very good thing to recycle soda pop, water, and other
bottles. Here are some options:

  1. You can use them as a flower pots but make sure to have
holes in them for excess water drainage.
  2. Cut the tops and use the bottom part as pencil holder.
  3. Remove the top and use it as bird feeder.
  4. Make a hole in the side of the bottle – a hole big enough
that a bird can enter or exit---. Put some dried grass in the bottle and hang
with a tree and soon it will become a bird's nest.

You can cut slits in the side, sort of half moon shapes, (all around in about 3 rows), to make windmills. You can paint them for special occasions, or just for fun.

I had an aunt that worked with special needs children and she helped the children with crafts.  She used plastic bottles as windmills.  She would cut 2 or 3 rows of half-moon slits around the bottles.  Then she would paint the bottles for the occasion or just for fun.  They were always pretty.
Also, you might can go to www.about.com and search for crafts for plastic bottles.  They have answers on so much.
