To see how much your Beanie Babies are worth, check out websites like barrysbeanies.com and eBay. These sites will give you a rough indication of the value of your toys. The incredibly unique ‘bean-filled’ Beanie Babies (produced by Ty Warner) first hit the toy market in 1993 with the original nine Beanies and with names like Squealer the Pig and Chocolate the Moose. How much your Beanie Babies are worth will depend on a few factors. The condition that the toys are in will play an important role to how much people will want to pay for them. Of course, if your Beanie is in mint condition, the purchasing price will be considerably higher. Undamaged tags and ribbons will be a bonus because the original Beanie Babies were issued with ribbons and this is what collectors are looking for. Also, check to see if a heart-shaped tag is attached as well as a sewn-in tag on the animal's bottom. These tags carry the animal's name and the Ty logo and will instantly boost the value of the toys. The rarity of the toy is also an important factor. A Beanie from the original nine will promote more interest than one that has just left the market a few months ago. Another top desired Beanie is the #1 Bear; an exclusive gift given to Ty sales reps in 1998. The fact that only 253 exist in the world makes it one-of-a-kind and has reported to be worth thousands of pounds. You can also improve the value of your toys by ensuring they are free from unpleasant odours (like cigarettes smells or musty odours from being left in the attic for too long), by getting rid of stains and by making sure the tags are clean and in a respectable condition.

You really should log onto E-Bay to see what these specific beanies are being sold for. They are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them.

I don't know if they are worth anything considering we couldn't even do away with them at a garage sale. The surefire way to find an item's worth is to search for a similar item on ebay or amazon to see how much they are going for. In my opinion, your investment might only be worth the value of any small stuffed toy.

I have a 1998 14" Royal Blue Peanut the Elephant; tag is probably a 7 out of 10.  There are no miss-prints such as 'Origiinal' or 'Suface' on the tag; but it is the Royal Blue Elephant...

It was given to me by my Aunt who claims she paid $5,000.00 for it at auction in the late 1990's.

How much is this elephant worth today?  I'm seeing all sorts of prices on the internet, from $300 - $3000.

To the person with the dark blue elephant: EXTREMELY rare! One peanut the elephant in royal blue was sold for $3,000! They were royal blue instead of the correct light blue color from a manufacturing mistake; thus the first 2,000 or so were royal blue!

Hi there! There is a brand new website, that has been launched by an authorized ty dealer(more than 7+ years!),whom I have found to be totally honest, and very knowledgeable! This was done in response to questions like"what are my ty beanies worth?/where can I find out more about xxxx beanie?" etc.! The site is "basic" with no annoying "pop-ups/add-ons",and because it is new, there is a special offer/promotion on!the "url" for this site is:

Hope this is of some use to you!
