If it wasn't worn off KEEP THE PENNY. It is worth a lot because it is a mistake coin, since it is from an old date and missing the E then some collectors such as myself would want it. Now when I say a lot I'm not sure exactly how much, but for a penny if you got thirty to fifty bucks off it you'd be happy right.
