From spool go to the circle/loop on the top left front, going through the loop, thread down to tension bolt. Going around the right side.. Now around the bottom of the tension bolt, hooking the thread into the wire of the tension bolt. Now up through the "eye" to the silver arm "eye". Now down the next "eye", catching the thread "fingers" to holt it in place. There are 2 more little hooks just in front of the needle. One is on the machine. The other is on the "rod", above the needle, that moves the needle up & down. Now thread needle through the front of needle
