Tyrus Raymond or "Ty" Cobb was born on the 18th of December, 1886. He was nicknamed "The Georgia Peach," and is recognised as one of the legendary Major League Baseball or MLB players. Cobb is part of the Hall of Fame and is considered one of the greatest players ever for the prowess he displayed on the field. In fact, his nomination for the Hall of Fame is said to have received the most votes of any player had ever enjoyed till the 1936 inaugural ballot. Cobb is credited with writing baseball record books and setting more than ninety records! He held forty three titles by the time he retired in 1928. To date, he still holds several records and one celebrated one is the highest Major League Baseball or MLB career batting average ever, with .366. He is also credited with the most career batting titles, a total of eleven!

It is hardly any wonder that you should be apprehensive about the signed baseball. The legend's signature on your ball will certainly find the right value within the ring of enthusiasts. However, you could access the price of one regular ball which costs as little as eleven cents and can come within a range that could increase up to a hundred dollars. The value you receive for the collection will also be based on the community within which you attempt to sell it, if you do want to sell it. The collectible is priceless and is certain to have a lot of emotional tags attached to it.
