Striking should focused on close quarter combat. As soon as you focus too much and distance, the combatant will close the gap to take that advantage away. As long as the rule allow, Elbows and Knees are great to practice with . . . If you are going to try distance fighting, quick powerful boxing jabs and kicks to the upper legs are good to wear down the opponent. The key is endurance and breathing since most bouts can go on for a while.
