No. You can't legislate common sense. It would be outright injustice to the greater number who enjoy gambling sensibly and those who earn paychecks working in casinos. Not to mention that the legal gambling industry contributes to local tax revenue, and tourism business.
imo yes. I've known people have lost the shirt on their back because they have no control over themselves losing absolutely everything
No. Then we start the whole process where.... We can't think for ourselves and make our own decisions based on our income and state of well-being. My grandmother lives a very stable life and she has been gambling in AC for years, to have fun! She is over 70 years old and has not gone into any financial debt.
I couldnt possibly imagine a reason to force her to "stop" when clearly its under control. I personally, do not gamble. And have no desire to.
NO ... The ONLY reason gambling was made illegal, was to enforce religious restrictions on people. The only reason it remains illegal, is to minimize competition with state-run gambling (aka "lotteries").
No, gambling shouldn't be banned in general. People have always been playing them and they won't stop. No reason for it. Gambling is fun and gives opportunities for many that's why such a one-sided approach isn't something good. I, for one, play on 888sport.com regularly and still nothing bad has happened to me. The same goes for many other players.
