When I was a kid, I wanted an Ack Ack gun. It was a toy gun similar to a WWII antiaircraft gun. My dad searched and searched for it for a Christmas gift but could never find one.
What was one toy you wish they had when you were a kid? I missed out on the big wheel I was too big for it when it came out
A Barbie doll. I never had a Barbie doll, I had a doll name Midge that was suppose to be her best friend back then, but never the Barbie.
Well it's not a toy per say, but my mom never let us use those "police car grocery carriages" because they were always way too dirty and had something gross in them...but I always wanted to ride in one :'(
I wanted that giant doll. The one that was as tall as I was. I also always wanted a fancy dolly with porcelain face and hands. With a body made of soft cotton, in a beautiful dress.
Now that I think about it, that might have been scary.
I really wanted a Sega Game Gear when I was a kid, and I remember my mom telling me I could get one for myself when I was old enough to earn money and pay for it myself.
I was scared that, by the time I was old enough to get a job and buy games, I wouldn't be into them anymore.
Luckily, that isn't the case.
Although I hardly have any time to play them, I do still love crashing on the couch and playing me some Xbox.

I wanted doll house pretty bad, but they were too expesive and I was one of the last kids of a huge Family & it was too hard for my parents to scrounge around to find one used.
But guess what? I don't hold any grudge, in fact today I live in a big fascinating old house. Sometimes I think the seed was sewn back then.
