I'm creating a survival game, so I'm collecting info from answers to determine weaponry.  If you were in a zombie apocalypse what melee weapon and gun would you pick?

I can't be certain & give out a name of a gun! Cause when that happens, I wouldn't know it so I'd be shocked & town will panic,  so no time for shopping guns. But let's think we got accidentally into a gun storage. I'll pick anything with a silencer or anything that silencer fits it well. Cause I don't want to distract everyone of those toward myself with the sound of shooting.If there is no silencer I'll pick anything available. But again let's think everything is available.This is one of my favorites to pick. (Also I'll pick any tool who's able to dig a skull).

If I were in a zombie apocalypse, I would want, at minimum, a pistol and a knife. The pistol would most likely be a M1911. One of my in-laws hand made a fixed blade knife along with a hand carved and stitched leather holster for that knife, and gave it to me as a gift, so I would definitely have that. For your game, I would suggest a minimum of a pistol and a knife for weaponry. Good luck on your endeavor, my friend.

Either a riot shotgun with 00 buckshot or a silenced Glock 19. For a melee weapon I'd pick a combat knife.
