This can be both at the same time.
Fun and make me puke.
FUNtastical!
When I was young (and had total control of my bowels, bladder and gag reflexes), I could ride the roller coasters all day long, unscathed.
I'm now 60, and if I watch a VIDEO of one (from the riders' perspective), I'll vomit all over my monitor screen.
So my answer is, "then fun, now scary."

Fun, because even though sometimes people find them scary, there's no actual reason to be scared. You're perfectly safe, and there is a minimal chance that you'll fall of the ride! :)
In my EARLY twenties, I used to think they were "fun"! But after about 35yrs. Old, I found them VERY unnerving!
Scary and Fun, I once take a roller-coaster in someplace (forget already) and I thought it was so fun to experience the rushing wind and the thrill of it all. But, this roller coaster is scary. It makes a great plunge and it makes double 360-turns and a lot of corkscrews, and it makes me scared. I feel like my whole body was turning in circles, and my heart had came out from my body. Sorry, no more roller-coasters ever again. Maybe I should just stick to kiddie-coasters like Snoopy's Great race or just take a carousel, or just rest my tired legs. I wish i could have just fly out of the coaster and never come back.
I haven't been on a roller coaster with loops before, but the ones I have been on have been scary as I'm scared of big theme park rides - I'm 12 and must ride a roller coaster with loops soon (if I don't get on myself, my friend will just pull me on!) - I haven't been on any up side down rides either.
Scary!!!!
