What Are Ruth's Chris Prices?

You can find Ruth's Chris restaurant information on their website but in the menu is lacking in price info so you may not find this very informative unless you wish to see the menu and book a table. Due to the fact that Ruth's Chris restaurant is a la carte, you will have to pay for each dish separately i.e. Each side dish, starter, main and dessert. The price will also change depending on where the restaurant is, from New York having some of the most expensive to Pasadena having lower prices. This is all relative though and the restaurant is often said to be the most expensive in each respective town.
  In general this restaurant is at the higher end in terms of price e.g. A lobster tail will set you back $24.95 and the same for salmon. The starters cost around $4.95-$9.95 and desserts were in the region of $10-$15.
The steaks there are excellent and cost around $23.95 for a petit filet to $29.95 for the New York strip. You can also get a set menu for around $50, and with wine starting at around $30 per bottle you can probably spend around $150 per 2 people. They also have special offers that run throughout the week e.g. Date night where you can get  two glasses of wine, an appetizer to share, two entrees with sides, and a dessert to share which for 2 people, costs around $100, making it a cheaper option than the a la carte menu.

Ruth's Chris costs about $100 per person including a glass of wine or drink each. Everything is a la carte and quite pricey. It's very good and the service is excellent but come on now, $45 - $50 for a steak?? I get the lamb chops (outstanding) for $39 and it's a lot of food. Creamed spinach...$8, salad $8, appetizer $9, wine $9. Plus tax and tip...@ $200.

The thing about Ruth's Chris is that everything is priced separately instead of as a meal. The sides are usually enough to share between two people. They use the best ingredients and the atmosphere feels upscale. Great place for "special" occasions but too pricey for my daily budget.

For ruth's chris steak house, you are looking at around 30 dollars a plate. This is not including wine if any. For four people, dinner, bottle of wine, gratuity, your looking at about 200.00. Great place to eat though.
