Polyester can only be dyed with special dyes called disperse dyes as other kinds of dyes do not work on polyester. So you better get hold of one. I came across a handy website that tells all about dyeing especially polyester dyeing, following is the link:

Polyester is a hydrophobic fiber.if you want to dye polyester fabric, you have to use swelling agent   like methyl salisylate.and you can get depth also but you have to use pressure cooker for dyeing the fabric.
Simple way for dyeing any type of quality do one thing.take soft binder, add plasticizers more than 8% and water + any pigment colour, spray it on fabric or dip it in liquid, and allow it to dry curing temperature is 160 degree Centigrade .wash in cold and hot water with soap and soda treatment.
