The materials that will be needed are around four to five egg cartons (depending on the size of the basket), glue or adhesive, paint or coloured glazed paper, a sheet of cardboard, scissors and a plastic bag for trash. You need to form a round circle or cylinder by placing the egg cartons in a circle. The top flap of each of the egg cartons can be glued and stuck on to the back of the next carton.
Now you need to form a circular base of the cardboard and attach it to the bottom of the egg cartons. Use the glue for this. Next what you need to do is cover the outside of the egg cartons either with glazed paper or paint. The plastic bag can be used as a disposable waste bag and your waste basket is ready.
