The given question is related to the binomial experiment. A binomial experiment is the one that has two possible outcomes that are success and failure. The probability of success remains constant for each trail. The successive trails are independent in binomial experiments and are repeated fixed number of times. The formula for binomial distribution is;

P(success)= nCx pxqn-x

p= probability of success= 1/2

q= probability of failure= 1/2

x= number of successes= 9

n= total number if trails = 9

P(x=9)= 9C9 (1/2)9(1/2)0

P(x=9)=(1/2)9

P(x=9)= 0.002 is the required probability.
