I believe it's a starter light used for drag racing, not quite sure, but I believe that's what it is. Or, it's what everyone else is saying.

I think they are commonly called a scoring pylon. Pic is Bristol scoring pylon

I never knew the name of it.. But it's a scoring tower? It lists the standings.

Is it called the track positioner. I know it list the staring lineup at the beginning of the race but it then tells everyone's current position.
