Silver dollars from the years 1878 to 1921 are called Morgan silver dollars. For that year the price ranges from 16 dollars up to 18,000.00 dollars. Depending on where it was minted and the condition it is in (based on ANA grading system). Check the mint mark found below the wreath on the reverse. There will either be a CC, O or S and if there is nothing at all that is also normal as some will not have a mint mark.
