Searching the net and looking to various sources, people are asking between $10.00 and $29.95. The thing to remember about this commemorative is not only is it considered the first of the recent commemorative coins but it is .900 silver. Therefore it not only has a collector value but also a bullion value based on it silver content. The other thing to note is if it is a Proof or just Mint coin. All Proof coins will have an S mint mark. A Proof maybe worth more but not always. Check the value of silver and then weight the coin. 90% of that weight is silver and you just multiply that by the value of silver to get the bullion value. Face value of the coin is just $0.50 and it could be used as legal tender at that value.
